We enjoyed the scenery and lovely towns and villages. Too many long coach days though. Would have loved a more enthusiastic , passionate tour guide with some French music on the coach on the long travel days. Too many optional excursions that should be included like orientation walk of Nice and Aix en Provence.

Overall a good variation of what Italy offers from busy crowded Rome and Florence to seaside Santa Margherita, stunning Dolomites and finishing in Venice. This tour was an excellent way to see Spain and Portugal and made even more delightful by our Tour Director Denise Lamas whose knowledge of the countries and their history and customs was exceptional as well as her kindness and friendliness to all. Easter week ...read more in Spain was very special and in spite of the crowds there was an atmosphere of unity everywhere. The highlights of the tour were the visit to Seville and the perfume of the orange blossom, the snow capped Sierras and the Alhambra, the lunch with village ladies in their homes and of course the amazing Segrada Familia by Gaudi in Barcelona. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to visit Spain and Portugal.

This was the most wonderful, enjoyable and most memorable tour. While some of the organised guides could have thought about our need to eat...and shorten their chat...other than that...wish there was some more free time as quoted, in Lucerne...before the shops shut. 🥲 Faith was by far the best tour guide!

Travelling with Insight was totally stress free. Our fabulous tour director saw to every little detail and his suggestions for restaurants and optional tours were spot on. Insight Vacations through Spring Tours provided a memorable 12 day, small group, Splendours of Egypt tour that included 7 days cruising on the Nile in a boat with a capacity of 120 passengers. While a day trip to Abu Simbel (from Aswan) was an option extra - we highly recommend it - the Abu Simbel site will blow your mind - Ramses the Great (Ramses II) had a taste for grandeur. Our Tour Director was exceptional, which makes a huge difference to one’s experience. The pace of the tour was excellent - nay faster and it would have been less enjoyable and unable to spend sufficient time each site to appreciate them for what they are - marvels. Our guide Federika Nandini was a delight, who kept a keen caring eye over all. Our driver was careful and managed to manoeuvre a large bus on some tight and potentially dangerous roads. Meals provided were usually over catered and in noisy interiors. Optional excursions were varied . Some lovely hotels were included but not able to be enjoyed as we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy.

Highly recommend a small-group tour with Insight Vacations. It was a worry free holiday with great accommodation and food. The tour director was fabulous and the coach was super comfortable with WiFi and bottled water.

Egypt was breathtaking and Insight only made it better. Our guide, Wael (an Egyptologist) was engaging and a joy to listen to. The earpieces we used were not the cheap ones and we never lost connection. It was really a well organised trip, right from the very beginning with Global Journeys and Georgie, right through the getting them to organise all the flights and accommodation before and after… it all made it work so well! The tour director thought about what we were seeing and extra touches that made it memorable! They really looked after those of us who had ability problems during the trip always!!! The accommodation was clean and some were family run and a touch of nostalgia, made it all perfect!! We had many organised meals, we found that such a help because the trip was jam packed with so much to see and do, it was very welcomed!! The one thing I would ad for the tour director is that I’m sure there would always be some who would welcome to be told about any Aurora sightings, no matter what time of the night!!!! So as not to miss this spectacular sight!!! The trip was a 22 day through England, Scotland ( magnificent Scottish highlands and Orkney Islands) Northern Ireland , beautiful Ireland, Wales, and back to England… all so magnificent!!! We really loved the trip and are very glad we chose Insight and Global Journeys…thanks to all involved!!

We had a great time on this holiday trip. The pace was good and well organized. The scenic drive along the country roads is incredibly scenic with stunning views of the snowcapped Swiss Alps, romantic lakes, waterfalls, glaciers, vineyards, green pastures, old towns, and charming hillside villages. On the second day, we had truly a wonderful experience ...read more getting up to the summit of Mount Stanserhorn aboard an open top funicular cable car and the opportunity to take great photo shots of the wonderful mountain scenery. Among the stunningly snowcapped Swiss Alps, the iconic Matterhorn and the world famous Eiger Mountain offer spectacular views and lifetime experiences. Overall, this was a memorable holiday, complete with exciting train rides, cable cars, luxury cruise of Lake Geneva and spacious touring coach on our drive covering most of the major Swiss cities. We commenced our 14-day trip on 29/08 and had expected the weather to be cool and clear but sadly most of the days were hot and sunny.

A great group of travellers. 13 of us on a 48 seater bus so we all had a window seat! Our tour guide Scott was very well organised, and knew the history of the countries. Nothing was a bother. I couldn’t fault this tour. From the tour guide to the accommodation. It was my first Insight tour but it won’t be my last. More expensive than other tours but more inclusions and 5 star accommodation.

I don't have the words to describe how wonderful this trip was every day brought a new highlight. Our tour guide (Matt) was every engaging and insightful. Only downside was it is VERY expensive more so than I expected but even that didn't spoil the experience nor beauty.

We have just completed the 20 day Grand Scandinavia tour with Insight Vacations which departed Copenhagen on 13th Aug 2023 and ended in Oslo on 1st Sep 2023. It was an amazing trip with a good mix of everything in it. Be prepared with a good pair of walking shoes - but well worth it. The weather was great with some rain on only one day. It's still summer ...read more up there so don't overdo it with the woolies. The hotels were of a high standard and very comfortable except for the Hilton Stockholm. The included meals were good as well. The Optional Extras were good as well and well worth it. Some did not happen due to logistical issues but was not the end of the world as there were plenty of other things to gawk at. Overall a great trip and definitely a MUST DO.

We enjoyed the tour, our first with Insight Vacations in Canada and America. I feel that Insight Vacations standards have dropped - not totally but no airport pick up or drop off's, then a hotel change at the end. We paid months earlier, then came the notification about the change from a $700 night hotel to a $168 night hotel.

This was our 9th Insight Vacations trip. On the positive side we saw some great places and TD was very informative and insightful.
There were places like Nice that were big cities and not necessarily the country roads charm we expected. A bit slower paced than what we're used to and some hotels were disappointing.

This was truly an escapade! You see a LOT of Italy in a very short span of time. It is true that there is a good amount of time spent riding on the coach, but the views and scenery are worth while. Our tour guide was excellent and our driver was simply fantastic, even on the narrow roads. We did visit in the summer, which is not the optimum time ...read more to visit Rome due to the very high temperatures. The day we toured Rome it was 97 (36) degrees!

The local experts were very good and helped to make each place come alive. A few seemed to be less about the history and culture and more about making sales, but I guess that is to be expected. The hotel accommodations were small but functional and it is true that the Italians don't really care for air conditioning, so if you are accustomed to an icy cool room, you need to rethink! The breakfasts were ok but nothing to write home about and stopping at the truck stops for lunch was less than exciting in terms of Italian cuisine! Global Journeys was easy to work with and I had excellent correspondence with Rachael, who patiently answered each of my questions and concerns.
