We enjoyed the scenery and lovely towns and villages. Too many long coach days though. Would have loved a more enthusiastic , passionate tour guide with some French music on the coach on the long travel days. Too many optional excursions that should be included like orientation walk of Nice and Aix en Provence.
Overall a good variation of what Italy offers from busy crowded Rome and Florence to seaside Santa Margherita, stunning Dolomites and finishing in Venice. This tour was an excellent way to see Spain and Portugal and made even more delightful by our Tour Director Denise Lamas whose knowledge of the countries and their history and customs was exceptional as well as her kindness and friendliness to all. There were 36 on the Tour and as a solo traveller I was given a friendly welcome by all. Easter week ...read more in Spain was very special and in spite of the crowds there was an atmosphere of unity everywhere. The highlights of the tour were the visit to Seville and the perfume of the orange blossom, the snow capped Sierras and the Alhambra, the lunch with village ladies in their homes and of course the amazing Segrada Familia by Gaudi in Barcelona. I would recommend this tour to anyone who would like to visit Spain and Portugal.
This was the most wonderful, enjoyable and most memorable tour. While some of the organised guides could have thought about our need to eat...and shorten their chat...other than that...wish there was some more free time as quoted, in Lucerne...before the shops shut. 🥲 Faith was by far the best tour guide!
Travelling with Insight was totally stress free. Our fabulous tour director saw to every little detail and his suggestions for restaurants and optional tours were spot on. Insight Vacations through Spring Tours provided a memorable 12 day, small group, Splendours of Egypt tour that included 7 days cruising on the Nile in a boat with a capacity of 120 passengers. While the MS Nile Odessa is a bit dated the river cruising experience was enjoyable, noting it is the Egyptian civilisation sites that were our primary reason ...read more for travelling to Luxor and Aswan. While a day trip to Abu Simbel (from Aswan) was an option extra - we highly recommend it - the Abu Simbel site will blow your mind - Ramses the Great (Ramses II) had a taste for grandeur. Our Tour Director was exceptional, which makes a huge difference to one’s experience. The pace of the tour was excellent - nay faster and it would have been less enjoyable and unable to spend sufficient time each site to appreciate them for what they are - marvels. Finally thank you the Hannah and the team at Global Journeys.

This was fast paced but with our hilarious and caring tour leader Nikos, everyone had a ball! Corfu was a highlight and would love to have spent more time so as to visit the Durrell house. Lots of history shared and most of Greece's special places, included. Do it! Yamas!
Beautiful is the first thought that comes to mind as I recall our time spent in Japan. From the Japanese people to the countryside, the culture, food, gardens and everything in between. Trafalgar looked after us well, with the amazing Yama as our tour director. She worked so hard to make sure everyone needs were met. We travelled with a great bunch ...read more of people and had lots of fun along the way. A couple of the meal experiences could have been explained better but other than that no complaints. I would happily recommend this trip to anyone seeking an overall experience of what Japan can offer. Georgie was very helpful with organising the trip.
Highly recommend to combine the best of Greece with a Celestyal cruise, ideally after but either way will be well worth it. Overall taste of Greece, by Land and Sea.

It has always been an enjoyable and fun time.
The highlights for me in Croatia was Plitvice National Parks with its beautiful lakes and waterfalls. Definitely a spectacular place to visit. Opatija was a quaint and relaxing coastal town that is worth a visit to explore and enjoy great seafood. Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik were interesting cities with lots of history and great places to wander and get 'lost'. I travelled in April and the weather was interesting. Arrived in Zagreb to 30 degrees celsius, which is very hot for spring in Croatia but the rest of the trip was much milder temperatures below 20 degrees celsius with patches of rain.
The highlights in Slovenia was Lake Bled and the great food. Lake Bled is absolutely spectacular and the island in the middle of the lake with its cathedral is definitely worth a visit. The Bled cake is also one not be missed. The weather in Slovenia was also very interesting. It snowed the first night in Lake Bled but the next couple of days were 'normal' weather for spring.

Will always travel with Trafalgar, one of the main reasons would be having a local as the tour director. I learn so much more. Ako san was an excellent guide. Croatia and Slovenia are really worth going to - every location was so picturesque. Glad we went at the start of the season, which was already busy in key cities and attractions - it would've been very crowded during peak season. This tour allowed us to go to many locations in Croatia and Slovenia. Tour was well-organised and comfortable but hotel locations ...read more in Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik were well outside the Old Town areas in residential zones. This significantly reduced our food and shopping options if we didn't join the optional excursions. Tour pace was very slow, would have been good to have more options for those wanting to do more, especially at Plitvice Lakes.
