Bunnik Tours pride themselves that physical distancing is always practised on their tours with their policy of using full sized coaches for small group tours. As they plan for the next era of travel, your safety is Bunnik’s highest priority.
To ensure you can travel with confidence, Bunnik Tours has adopted the Covid Safe travel protocols released by the Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) to ensure a high level of hygiene and safety on their tours. Health and hygiene protocols have been elevated across all regions you will pass through.
Consider these useful guidelines Bunnik share to help you prepare to return to travel with them.
Bunnik limit their group size to a maximum of 20 travellers whilst still using full size coaches that have 49 seats. This allows their travellers to be appropriately distanced from each other as they are spread out across the coach. It also means better access to view the landscapes you pass through, as well as room to spread out in comfortable. Be sure to pack hand sanitiser and tissues to use as you need. Take your rubbish with you off the coach and dispose of it properly.
When you travel with Bunnik tours your flights are included. Airlines will guide if you need a mask and undertake deep cleans of their craft on long-haul flights. You might want to pack antibacterial wipes to clean your personal area including window shade and surround, armrest, tray table, seat belt, remote and the back of the seat in front of you. When you use the bathroom, wash your hands thoroughly, and back at your seat, you might also have your own hand sanitiser to give you that extra protection after using shared facilities.
Your hotel will have been cleaned to enhanced standards but if you want to feel confident you might also want to use your own antibacterial wipes on high touch items such as light switches, and the TV remote ( or pop it in a snaplock bag).
It goes without saying that we have all been reminded to wash our hands thoroughly while we go about our business in daily life. While on tour it is important to keep this top of mind, most obviously after you use bathroom facilities, but also after you touch or exchange money and before you eat. Also, be mindful to wash your hands when you return to your hotel room or cabin, before you touch your face (when you apply sunscreen) or brush your teeth.
With the enhanced protocols in place, guided by health and travel authorities as well as these practical guidelines for when you are on tour, you can consider your next Bunnik tour and start to plan your return to travel.
